In today's tutorial, I am going to use Streamlabs OBS software and the link to download it is given in the description You just have to visit the website and download its setup. Then just keep on pressing next and install the setup The setup is very easy. And I will show you the remaining process on my screen After downloading and opening the software, You will get this type of screen. Now we have to do the livestream on youtube. You have to select the Youtube option from this menu As soon as you click on the link you will see all your google accounts in your browser. Here, you have to log in to your Youtube account. So let me quickly log in from here. After logging in, You will see this type of screen then you have to click on start fresh. After that, It will ask you for mic and webcam. You can skip this currently and keep on skipping You will get this screen. I have already created some scenes because this is my old account. So, I will explain everything from the scratch. Basically, I will explain 4 things here. Firstly, Let me show my scene window In this scenes window, You will create different scenes and then we have to create sources in scenes And to manage all the audio of all the sources, You will get this third section here And the overall stream i.e. the video that your viewer will actually see will be displayed in this black space Now let me tell you how you have to create scenes. First of all, You have to create a scene You can select any scene from here just like I have selected a new scene let's create a new scene You have to click on + and then you have to name it. I am naming it "Test". Now I have selected test And now we have to add some sources inside test. Source can be an image, browse source, Image slide But we have to display our gameplay. You can display your gameplay by 2 methods. Either you can use display capture or you can use Windows capture. I use Display capture but many people use Window capture as well In Windows capture, Only the window of your game will be visible to the people. Rest, Other things won't be visible to the viewers. You can use this is you are using a single monitor setup You will obviously face problems in managing the stream in a single PC setup. In that case, You can use Windows capture. Currently, I am using display capture. I will click on display capture and then add source Now you can see the source has been added and this display is visible here Now, Let's adjust this. Alright This window will be visible on the stream to the viewers. This will capture your game. now you have to add the audio For that, You again have to click on the + sign and click on "Audio Input Capture" Click on this and then click on add source. Now it will ask about the devices My microphone is visible here that is a USB microphone, I'll click on done. Now you can see, My device is working and the audio is showing up there. Now you can control all the audio from here. If you want to decrease your game's audio, You can simply slide this And your game sound will reduce. And if you want to increase the microphone sound, So that your voice is louder And the game audio is slightly lower, You can simply slide it and reduce it. You can add other things like subscriber count. For that you have to click on + and here you will see subscription goal You can add this. Here, You will get a lot of options i.e. widgets. You can use a lot of widgets here without any issues. Or if you want to add any image or a media source i.e. any video, You can easily do this You can also add any text on your stream. Now I will tell you an important thing that is regarding the settings. You are doing it right but how will you display this on Youtube? We have to do that also. Simply, Click on settings And you will see an option of output, Click on that, There will be a section of streaming Currently, We will only talk about streaming. So, I will talk about this streaming tab only So firstly, Let's talk about video bitrate. Let me tell you about bitrate Bitrate decides the quality of your stream when you are doing a live stream on Youtube and playing games on that Then the quality of your stream is decided by your bitrate. High bitrate implies high quality stream And low bitrate implies low stream quality. But if you keep your bitrate high It will put some load on your encoder, For eg, if you are doing the encoding through the CPU The load will be more on your CPU, And the same CPU will be utilized while gaming also. So, the games might also get affected. So, I recommend you GPU based encoding and if on that also you keep the bitrate high, There will be some load on your graphics card. So you have to decide the bitrate yourself If you want to do a 1080P 60 FPS stream, The bitrate is different. On the screen I am displaying on what bitrate you have to stream You can see the different bitrates for 720P, 1080P 30FPS, 1080P 60FPS. So, You have to set the bitrate yourself. I keep the bitrate to 5000 whenever I stream. Now, Let's talk about the encoder. Basically, Encoding means that which of the components will be highly utilized to create your stream i.e. through which component your stream will be encoded. You can either do CPU based encoding or GPU based encoding I do GPU-based encoding because my processor is slightly weak for this task. If you have a high-end processor You can do CPU based. Although, I don't recommend this. You will get more benefit in GPU based encoding The quality of the stream would be better I recommend GPU-based encoding. I recommend that you select the encoder as Hardware NVENC neo If you have Nvidia graphics card and especially if you have a graphics card with turing architecture, Select Hardware NVENC neo This is a really good encoder. If you select this Software X264 option, It will use your processor and if you want to use hardware i.e. graphics card, You have to select the NVENC If you are using AMD, You will see another option apart from the software and that will be the option for AMD graphics card Now you have come on to the video section and here, You have to see 2 things. Firstly, Base canvas resolution This is the resolution of this area that is visible to you in this part in the center You can set its resolution here and you can set the output resolution here i.e. on which quality do you want to stream on Youtube. If you want to do a 1080P stream, You can select 1080P If you want to do it at 720P, You can select 720P. For eg, I want to do live stream on 1080P, So, I have selected 1080P and I want to set the base canvas resolution also to 1080P so I will set it to 1080P Now, Let's come to the FPS. You can use common FPS values here like 30, 60, 59.94, 29.97, or you can manually enter the FPS value You can use integer FPS value if you want to do at 1080P 50 FPS, You can select 50 FPS I will select common FPS and keep it to 60 FPS. So I do 1080P 60 FPS stream whenever I do a live stream Now everything has been completed and you have to click on done. Now it's done This canvas display might change after the settings. You have to drag it and set it back to normal Now everything is complete. Now you have to click on this go live option In the beginning, you logged in to Youtube and that time itself you have logged into Streamlabs as well So you have to click on go live. As soon as you click on go live. It will ask you to create a new event, Title of your stream For eg, I will keep its name test stream and you can also write anything that you want in the description right here I'll write test stream description. and then as soon as you click confirm and go live, You will be live on Youtube And everything that is there in your canvas will be shown to your viewers. Now, Let's talk about some themes that you see in other Youtuber's streams like Dynamo, Carryminati use some themes So, You can install the themes from here. You will see a lot of free themes here You simply have to click this option on the left and you will be redirected to themes Now, You can add any free theme according to your choice. I liked this theme and I am going to install this You have to simply click on this and here, You will get some paid themes and some free themes You can install any theme you want. Then you have to click on install overlay and the theme will be installed You can see my theme is installed. Now, It will display that this is a free theme You have to click here and you have to delete this. I have deleted it and our theme is now visible. You can make changes to this theme like Here it is mentioned "your name" if you want to change it, click on it and then go below and then double-tap on it And you can change it and write anything, For example, I am naming this as ModxGaming and then click on done Now you can see ModxGaming is mentioned here. Or if you want to add you Youtube URL or anything else, Like if you want to write a schedule of your stream. You can do all that from here. If you want to end the stream, You can change the scenes. It is very simple and you can easily change the scenes If you have dual monitor setup i.e. you are doing the stream on one monitor and managing the stream on the other monitor, Then it's great and this will be easier for you. In this, You can change between the scenes Suppose this "Stream starting" is the first scene and it's visible to the viewers as soon as your stream starts While playing the game, You have to change the scene. For that, you have to create another scene for the games I have created a new scene and now you have to add the display capture and other things in this scene You have to add the display capture and then click on done After that, Add the audio capture and then add audio input source and click on add source Now your video and audio are added. Now, You can switch between these scenes In the beginning, This screen will appear and then during the gameplay, you can switch between the scene and start this one In the end, You can display the ending scene. So, You have to switch between the scenes and as soon as you switch it, It will reflect in your stream I hope you have understood the complete procedure. If you liked it make sure to press the like button I will see you in the next video till then, Thanks for watching
